Girls Basket Ball t-shirts. This one was fun because Gavin helped out a lot on it. He did almost all the screening.
Family Hoodies with brands.
Embroidering and vinyl for one of our local taxidermy shops, in preparation for a big trade show they are going to next month.
Birthday Presents. Two very different generations here.
Boys Basketball jersey’s. These ones presented their own challenges. Both being mesh, reversible, and having to do numbers. All were unique challenges for us. Glad we had the opportunity to learn and provide them for the boys.
I have a lot of helpers in the shop.
Gavin and Braylee have been a lot of help. They really enjoy coming out and helping. I put Gavin on the squeegee last night. He did really well. Took him a few times to get going, but then he was rocking it by the end. Faster then I could take a shirt off the platant and put a new one on.
Braylee helped with shirts that Mr. Grote did for his class. She was pretty proud of that.
Colson even gets involved.
The laziest though is the dog. 🙂
We’ve been really busy with silk screening. There has been a lot of different projects that we have done. Some really fun, a few frustrating. It kept us really busy the month of December trying to get them all done for Christmas.
We kind of went a little crazy this year on the custom shirts, hoodies, jackets for the family. We made them for each of the kids, and for some of the extended family. It was fun looking for and coming up with ideas for the kids. The family hoodies turned out pretty good. There is even one for Colson, but we forgot to get it out for him to put on for the picture.
These are book holding pillows. Ashley made them. They have a book pocket in them. We Embroidered each of the kids names on them. They turned out great.
Now that Christmas is over I can post some of the stuff we’ve been working on. Below are a few of the embroidered items.
Gavin didn’t want to be left out of having his name on a hoodie. So he brought me one. We sat down and I let him design what he wanted. Then hooped it and got it going on the embroidery machine. I think it turned out pretty good. He seems to like it at least.
I also got a request to create this shirt for a family. I really like the saying on the back. I was pretty excited to make it. There was some learning that happened with making it. I would do a few things different the next time around, but I think that it turned out good. They look a lot better in real life. The camera didn’t do them justice. If you want one for your boys, dads let me know. If you want one without Malad let me know I can do that too.
Our daughter Braylee wanted her name on one of her jackets. No problem. So out to the office to design it. I put her name on the design, and she asked if she could pick the color. Of course you can, what color do you want. She replied with “No can I pick a color for each letter”. Oh, well since I can do 16 colors, yea you can. I gave her the mouse and showed her how to pick the colors, and which colors were on the machine. So she picked a color for each letter. Now I had to thread 7 needles with all of her colors. She loved it. She just stood there and watched it all happen. She was really proud of what turned out, and took it right to her Aunt Megans house to show her.
We had the opportunity to do a towel this week. It was pretty fun, and I think the results turned out great. We have a lot of colors to choose from and can do the CTR, Angel Moroni, or a temple. We can even get others if you want. We charge $15 to do the embroidery if you bring your own towel. This embroidery was about 5 inches tall by 7 inches wide.
The 8 is great shirts are pretty popular. The kids that have them have loved them. I know one kid who wouldn’t take it off long enough for his mom to wash it. You can get one for $7 (front print only). I can also put it on a pillowcase
